Rosanne Cubitt, Joint Head of Professional Practice at Relationships Scotland, read it and had this to say:

‘It sounds like you are really thinking about what’s best for your children. Well done! It’s not easy, but well worth it. Communication is so important – with your children and your ex-partner –but challenging. The most important thing is that your children know that they are loved, and you are not fighting in front of them. Keep putting your children first!’ Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07553843033353759304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1231023261575406102.post-1807617471936642542014-02-27T20:00:29.629+00:002014-02-27T20:00:29.629+00:00I think you sound as if you've got it pretty w...I think you sound as if you've got it pretty well worked out. In many ways the one good thing when Half Pint's dad walked out was that I never had to accommodate another parent...but I did then end up with more awkward questions as he grew up! All kids go through a stage where they make comparisons with others, but your answer was spot on. I don't think they need details, just reassurance.Sarah from Goodreadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04493265183755563791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1231023261575406102.post-56240613285857244752014-02-27T11:26:21.327+00:002014-02-27T11:26:21.327+00:00I think you're doing an amazing job. I find it always helps to keep a very long term view and know your kids will one day be adults who will ask you why you did what you did.Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09274237523956714761noreply@blogger.com
